The minutes, 1860-1962, include: church directory, listing of officers, boards, committees, commissions, pastors, and necrology; rules of procedure for Synod, reports of officers, executive council, boards, commissions, and committees; reports of American, social and foreign missions; reports from educational institutions and youth work; reports of auxillaries; reports of ecumenical organizations; and elections, ordinands and Augustana statistics. Also included are the minutes for the Augustana Churchmen, formerly Augustana Brotherhood, and the Augustana Lutheran Church Women, formerly Women's Missionary Society. Minutes are in the Swedish-language 1860-1923, and the English-language, 1924-1962. The 1962 "Final Book of Reports" is also part of this collection. These synod reports were published by the Augustana Book Concern, Rock Island, Illinois. This collections is also available on microfilm.
